- Special on-campus welcome receptions each academic year hosted by the President
- Lectures and small group discussions on current events led by campus, alumni, and community leaders
- Targeted mentoring, professional development and internship opportunities
- Early academic advisement and registration periods
- Regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings to assess academic progress and provide support to ensure success
