Cohort Highlights:

  • Four-year cohort program to provide educational and social opportunities across five pillars: mentoring, leadership, service, entrepreneurship and education with a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
  • Participants in the cohort live together in a residence hall and attend special events throughout the school year.
  • In year 1, faculty and staff mentors help students develop leadership skills and LPW recipients engage in monthly service projects.
  • In year 2, mentors from the local area emphasize community outreach, and service projects include volunteering at a local school.
  • In years 3 and 4, mentors from professional fields help prepare students for their post-college life and career. LPW scholars in their fourth year will serve as mentors to younger peers.
